| The SF80 is a
compact AC power line surge suppressor used at the local service panel to provide brute
force protection for sensitive equipment. The SF80 is designed to defend sensitive
electronics such as CNC machines, industrial robots, soft start control systems,
electronic adjustable speed drives, etc. from transient overvoltages. Often, transients generated within a facility can be as damaging to your
equipment as those originating from the outside world. Potentially devastating surges from
inductive loads are diverted harmlessly to ground by the SF80. Bi-directional
protection stops a transient from coupling through a common panel to another room.
This is a low profile device powerfully constructed with
40mm MOVs and a green LED for each phase to show protection status at all times.
